Job Description
Capital Data Science LLC has an opening for the position of Pension Analyst in REMOTE, and the job duties are as follows:
> Interface with and assist in the management of key strategic client and vendor relationships including custodial firms, record-keepers, TPAs, and plan sponsors.
> Assist with due diligence activities, including information collection, prospectus monitoring, and risk assessments.
> Assist plan sponsors with navigating the complexities of administering defined contribution and defined benefit plans
> Perform data reconciliation of fund flows and statements, interface with plan sponsors, administrators, and participants as needed.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
MUST-HAVE
> 3+ years experience in financial services
> Posses or willing to pursue relevant designation (i.e. AIF, CFP or similar), progress toward the CFP designation is ideal
> Working knowledge of financial markets and investment industry.
> Working knowledge of both defined benefit and defined contribution plans
> Securities industry licenses 7, 63 and 65, or series 66; or willingness to become licensed.
