Job Description
Capital Data Science LLC has an opening for the position of Alternatives Analyst in Dallas, TX, and the job duties are as follows:
> Assist in the development, support, growth, and risk management of Capital Data Science's alternative investments platform
> Assist in the management of key strategic initiatives and vendor relationships designed to support the alternative investments platform
> Assist with investment due diligence activities, including information collection, prospectus monitoring, quantitative analysis, risk assessments, and more
> Perform data reconciliation of fund flows and statements, interface with fund sponsors and administrators as needed.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
MUST-HAVE
> 2+ years financial markets experience in Alternative Investments
> Posses or willing to pursue relevant designation (i.e. CFA, CAIA or similar), progress toward the CFA designation is ideal
> Working knowledge of financial markets and investment industry.
> Working knowledge of alternative investment products, including structured notes
> Alternative Investment performance reporting, date reconciliation and aggregation experience
> Securities industry licenses 7, 63 and 65, or series 66; or willingness to become licensed.
